Set Up in Four Steps

1. Unplug or remove the battery from the drill before setup.
2. Clamp the adapter’s drive stem securely in the drill chuck and attach the side handle.
3. Install the material-appropriate blade and confirm that it is locked in place.
4. Support the workpiece, place the base plate flat against it, then start slowly and guide the blade along the marked line.
